My N Alata just had a 3 week growth spurt
b4, it as like suspeneded animation
a week after i got it, it was doing fine
then it stopped growing and pitchering for like 3 weeks
now, after 3 weeks of rapid growth, it produced 3, 5 inch pitchers (They were already starting to grow but stopped)
and about 6 or 7 new leaves are groing from the top ( it has 2 stems coming out of the substrate)
also, it has a new stem coming out of the substrate.

    Hey,

Looks great! But it looks more like the hybrid of alata crossed with ventricosa, N. x ventrata. It's also often mistakenly sold as N. alata, or just as "Nepenthes hybrid."

Either way, your plant looks very happy.

    See ya,
    Pat

I am afraid Pat is right: no mistaking that peristome. But I also agree it's an attractive clone of N. x ventrata, and you ought to be proud.
