Pots are from a specialist plant nursery (Melbourne Australia) but I am sure you can track them down somewhere closer to home. They are quite wide and shallow compared to normal pots and are very heavy duty. In addition to that, as you noted, they have very good drainage. My best guess is to try orchid or water plant growers/suppliers.
As for feeding... ALL of those pictured above a brand new so I can take NO credit what so ever for their current size and condition. Geoff and Andrea Mansell from Exotica Plants (who these are all from) have the Midas touch with getting them big. Fertiliser is involved I believe but I don't know how much or what. Plus needless to say you can assume their conditions are geared towards the end results as well.
Personally I only feed insects. My smaller Neps catch plenty of ants on their own and I add the odd cricket (or any other bug the foolishly enters the glasshouse) to the larger pitchers. No method or routine is used though.
With regards to the size of the pitchers compared to the feeding, I have only just recently received the first of these large plants form Exotica. It was a large N. maxima ‘green’. It arrived with 1x large fully formed pitcher and 1x 25% formed pitcher. As is occasionally the case after transport I lost the mature pitcher. However, the new pitcher is only about 75-80% the size of the original. This may be due to the transport shock, or it may be due to my conditions not being as optimised as Exotics with regards to the size pitchers can attain.
As you can see here by this STILL 20-25cm (8-10”) pitcher I’m not complaining even if it’s not the 25-30cm of the one that came with it!

Certainly no denying the WOW factor as some of them are so bloody big… and the colours...Hmmmm!
I'll definitely get back to tracking down some more species that I don't yet have but I just could not resist this order of hybrids after looking at the photos the Mansell's put on their site. Not fair play of them!
