    The bizarre organic architechture of peristomes is great! The fluid but rigid shapes of the peristome ridges remind me of HR Gigers art (the guy who created the Alien and sets in Aliens films).

    Someone should make an online gallery of nothing but sections of peristomes upclose, I'd look! [img]http://www.**********.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/new/smile.gif[/img]
