Sooty mould

With such large amounts of nector on some of my pitchers which encourages sooty mould

I was wondering whether this phenomena occurs on Neps in the wild? Or it just a side effect of growing them under glass...

Good question. I would bet you answered it already, as there has to almost always be more air movement in Nature(especially for N. argentii, lol).
