Should basal shoots be seperated?

My N.Ventricosa srouted a basal shoot at the soil level. It now has several leaves and look to be starting a pitcher on at least one, my terrarium is not big enough for another pot so should I let it just keep growing? If I had room would it be better to remove it, and if so how?

yes I rarely seperate the basals from the parent... plus I like the looks of a bunch of small plants... like a pile pf pitchers...
