Beautiful. Absolutely stunning NepG. If you get a chance, can you do me a flavor? Try to get a little closer of a shot of underneath the lid? I'm really enjoying how that looks. ;)

Thanks Vertigo! You mean the N. ephippiata lid correct? Not much to look at under the filamentous and filiform lid on N. inermis besides some toxic nectar!

Those uppers are coming your way Dustin (N. inermis)! I'd say 2-3 more pitchers and you'll have the charachteristic upper pitcher shape that you've been waiting all these years for! Has your made basal shoots yet? Mine began making them abot the time I was getting pitchers like that. The basal shoots grow like gangbusters on N. inermis!

Hi guys, thanks Drew!

Josh, no idea, I might have to check in the Sphagnum! I've got 2 buds about a half an inch each in size shaped like little triangular wine glasses coming too! They wrapped around the stake in the pot.

I wish i had more Nepenthes with uppers. Right now i just have one N. Ventrata (not even fully developed yet) and a N. Alata (with three nice ones).
I gotta say, those are really nice pictures. That ephippiata is really nice, mine is smaller, but for some reason, it's more colorfull. Either way, the uppers will be great looking on both of ours.

Hi NepMaster, keep in mine the N. ephippiata is just 2 days old, I forgot to mention that.

You mean the pitcher, right? I doubt an ephippiata could grow that much two days out of germination.

Anway, it's still a nice pitcher, how large is it?

Yeah, the pitcher! ;p its around 5 cm tall or so.

I may not come here to post but I do come and dr00l...Nep pictures rock!

Well, then that's definitely larger than mine, mine's barely 1 cm tall.

The whole plant is about an inch and a half in diameter. The tendril for the pitcher is about as lond as the plant is wide.

It's going through transport shock, and it hasn't quite gotten over it. I have gotten one new leaf though.

I can't wait until the plant gets uppers, i want to compare it with my N. lowii once that grows uppers too.
