very nice plants. i like the ephippiata, is it an easy grower for you? i was told its easier than lowii and just about as spectacular. it and hamata are on my short list of neps to get this year. excellent looking plants, you do good work

In my opinion, ephippiata is faster than lowii, and it has better coloring, but it isn't as physcho in upper pitcher shape.

Yikes! 12:30, what am i doing up?!
Update: Parents convinced to allow me to keep greenhouse heated over winter. Most species will not be lost. Too lazy to update growlist.

Sheridan, N. ephippiata is very easy, it took a while to settle in but once it did, it REALLY took off. I forgot how small it was when I got it! It grows a little bit faster than N. lowii I think.

Hamish, I was waiting for someone to ask that With the generosity and kindness of Tony we have collaborated and have come up with the following, potentially very interesting crosses:

N. diatas x N. hamata
N. diatas x N. argentii
N. diatas x N. copelandii
N. diatas x N. mira

and one more cross that I cannot think of that is on it, there are also a few virgin flowers left up top that I wish to cross with N. veitchii this week.

Tuna, I think N. ephippiata is just about as "physco" in upper pitchers as N. lowii, just slightly bigger.

Nice pics, Dustin! I love that inermis. I'm waiting for mine to take off like that. It's growing, but at a measured rather than frantic pace.

Your hamata is out of control! Lol! You might get served the same notice Ozzy got.....
