Maxima x veitchii highland striped

This pitcher started opening a couple of days ago. I decided to take this pic now, as the peristome is still the striped type the same as its veitchii father and also hasn't curled back yet. As it ages, the peristome darkens to a deeper red.

I'm not a huge fan of hybrids, but this is one of the better ones.
