Odd neps

What are the strangest Neps you have seen or own? I think N pistacho is fairly strange. N. pistacho is N. tobacia x. talangensis.
See picture I found on the web

Strange indeed.

My vote goes for arisolochoides, jacq, and platychilda.

Wow that is one mad looking plant, ive never seen anything like it.
Bye for now Julian

Yeah I wish I could find one.

I'd say N. inermis, N. platychila, N. lowii, N. ephippiata, N. eymae, N. vogelli and N. klossi. Might as well add N. glandulifera as well, pretty neat!

I also must add N. tenuis. Very diminuative and odd.

Dont forget hamata hello? it has teeth =)

N. "lidless mutant"

  • #12
I don't think it is a true variety, just a plant tripping out on excessive tissue culture hormones. Some individuals are intersting though, especially the crested ones and the ones with spines projecting where the lid should be. I've only seen lidless mutants of N. x ventrata.
