"bromeliad type" humboldtii......have had it only a couple weeks and havent found a perminant home.....

Looks like you use the same soil mix for all your Utrics. Is it coarse peat?
 
in those pictures? i use peat and coco-fiber for the one humboldtii(it happens to have a layer of moss growing on the surface).....every other "macro" utric is mostly in LFS though some have larger pots have core of coco-chips.........
