    How could I have killed it? I neither encouraged them nor discouraged the, LOL! It was all their volition. OTOH. a colony of P. lusitanica that I thought had died out, has one plant growing in a U. calcyfida pot. Just noticed it on Friday.

    Ha-ha, mass carnivorous plant suicide. I wonder what you did to them to make them want to give up the ghost? Did you starve them or somthing

    I have no idea. Oh wait... I have a thought.. perhaps they froze to death, while the pygmy sundews endured the frost?

    So just pull off the stalks after they flower. I do that every year to keep things looking 'clean'. I do like the little leaves littering the ground everywhere.

    Right... well what on earth germinated in my pot then!!!!
    I was looking at U. Subulata photos, and there's no way what I've got is U. Subulata... whatever it is, it germinated from my u. subulata seeds, but it doesn't look like a subulata.. what on earth is it?
