Utricularia flaccida

Hi,

here is a picture of my Utricularia flaccida.
This species produces a lot of sticky glue drops on its flower stalks, which sometimes can catch small flies.
The reason _why_ these drops are produced is unknown to me.

Probably to protect the flowers from nasty insects, rather than catch anything.

Hey Martin, that a nice pic!
I am new to this plant in cultivation (just got it in June). It's starting to spread for me, but I was wondering if there is anything special I should do to promote flowering?

I think that it is closely related to U. subulata, which also displays this phenomenon.
