I received some seed from Fernando Rivadavia and Robert Gibsons collection in Diamantina last August, and I am pleased to report the seed has germinated, and with ease. I have a carpet of Genlisea violacea growing. Wow!
I had good luck with some G.violacea seed back in my early CP days. The plants it produced are still around, but are tricky to grow - almost as if they wanted to be annuals. They are constantly threatening to die, but some always seem to come back.
Hello,
i have success with growing G. repens and violacea from seed. Most species from the Genus Genlisea produce many very small seed, which germinate after sowing seedlins on the peat soil into some months.
