    Hi,
On my largest aldro (small about 3 inches) on the side there is a weird bud thing coming out which looks similar to the growth point of an aldro. Is it dividing or flowering?

Well, they flower in the spring I think. If it gets buds on it that open above the water, its a flower! White, I think they are.

It may also be forming a branch. Mine branched several times.

Also I moved my 7 or so aldros and aquatic utrics outside and put shadecloth over them, as many of you have heard california does not have the best weather now...
