Snails in my utrics?

I got some U. inflata from Copper a while ago. They have been doing great(except when they go a LONG time without having their water changed

)
Anyway, a while ago I noticed that snails were in my water. THey are no larger than a 1/8-1/4 inch. Are these snails good or bad? THey seem happy and I think they are multiplying.
