Aldrovanda seed pictures

Hi,

I got some seeds of the tropical red form Australian Aldrovanda vesiculosa variant. I sent some of those seeds to Christian who took nice photographs. The look like those from Dionaea but are more round.

For comparison: Dionaea muscipula seeds

Good growing,

They kinda remind me of Horta eggs. What are Horta eggs, you ask? Star Trek - Cap'n Kirk, et al.

Yea, and the VFT seed looks kinda like eggplant fruit.

Kyle, your description is more apt. Definitely brown lemons! Yeah, eggplant.

Yeah...I've been wandering about that too. That'd be fun to watch!

you can make almost any seed sprout in water... if you want to see it, I'd recomend beans :p or morning glories (I have seeds if anybody wants them by the way)

Many germinated! On my last check 5 out of 15 had a green shoot.
