G.sp.giant violacea

Hey my one and only Genlisia is has 2 buds comeing up:)
Genlisea actualy seem easier then Utrics to me.
I`ll try to get pics up when they open but no promises......

Thanks for sending me this wonderful plant Noah,
Noah.

My lobata x violacea tried to flower 3 times, every single time the buds turned black and dropped off after a while for no reason.

Good luck with it, the only problem I find with them is they get GSDS(Genlisea sudden death syndrome) where a plant or a group of plants grow super then die off for no reason at all.

Good luck with it and give us some photos when it opens!

congrats pondboy. my G. lobata x violacea has been blooming for a few weeks, its the first time ive flowered a Genlisea. its funny you find them easier than Utrics as i have found no difference between the two genus and other ppl find Utrics much easier than Genlisea. always good to flower something new. i have a couple G. violaceas. hopefully one will flower before the end of winter.

I'm the opposite, nothing is easier then growing a u. livida!
