That's a very nice looking plant.

It's up to you whether you want to keep the baby VFT where it is or not. When repotting it might just fall off the main plant, or you can divide it with a gentle tug. By late next spring it should have developed into quite a substantial little plant.

Thank you LLeopardGGecko and Alvin Meister, i have to run to town and get some batteries for my cam and check on few things for my 50gal terrarium but when i get back im gona go ahead and transplant/repot the rest of my VFTs, if the tiny baby falls off i will put it in the pot its in now with fresh potting mix and if it dont i will leave it with the bigger plant and just transplant them together they way they are now. I shall post as soon as i get done and take pics as well.. Wish me luck on the repoting today. See you all shortly.. Personally, I think the baby plants are fine where they are for the remainder of the growing season. I would wait until they are asleep before repotting them. The closed traps aren't a problem. Don't worry about it. I think your plant has had plenty enough to eat for now, as well.

BTW, out of curiosity, do you like the group called Heart?

Ok finaly done with repoting, i was pretty busy today so didnt get home till late plus i had snake cages to clean and tarantula tanks to clean and redo bedding. Anywas wow talk about a nervous wreck when transplanting something, i was so worried i wouldnt get it right or something would happen but it all went well and all the VFTs now are in new larger pots with fresh new potting mix and moss. The one with the teeny tiny baby i left right next to the other one since i didnt take all the old potting mix away from the bulb area i just took some from around it and the bottom where there was no roots and stuck it down in a depresion i had made in the new pots and potting mix then lightly and gently coverd up with the new mix and then carefully lifted the leafs/traps and placed damp moss around the base of the plant and top of pot. Any water or soaking i had to do was with distilled water only. Im gona leave the lights off just so i dont hurt them any more than i have and in the morn will turn the lights back on.
I feel like a new mommy that just gave birth to some green alien kids. LOL!! My better half JR came out and said "Geesh woman ya treat them plants better than me!!"LOL!! Does anyone know how many weeks it will take for them to adjust from the repoting?? Im gona resize the pics and then get um posted of how they look now.

jimscott, Heart is a cool band but if its pertaining to my name Barracuda well thats a long story, its a nick name my kids gave me yrs ago, everyone calls me CUDA for short. My plants usually recover from transplanting in a few days unless I get graceful and drop the pot as I'm try to get the plant out. Then it might take a few weeks for the damaged leaves to be replaced. Most of the time though the plants don't miss a stride and keep right on growing.

    Thanks BigCarnivourKid...

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK! Forgot to adjust the cam settings, sorry for the blurry pic, heres what they look like now back in the tiny terrarium.

i know i know it aint perffect but hey its my first time working with these little delicate gems.. And yes the traps did close while i was transplanting.

Wow my cam settings are way off.. YUK! Or its the lights from the terrarium thats throwing off the pretty color the VFTs have.

I hope i did ok with my precious little babies, do they look ok??
