My bog is drying out. It would cost a fortune and take all my time to keep it wet with distilled water. What do you think I should do?
I am lucky to live in an area where I can use tap water because the TDS is very low. In winter, I have no problem because between November and April we get about 50 inches of rain. But, between May and October, we may get a total of 1 inch of rain. So, I use tap water. Check out the tap water in your area. You may get lucky. You can get a report from the Water District office. Otherwise, get a RO unit.

I would be concerned about a 8' x 8' bog. How do you plan to reach the center? That is why I kept mine 3' wide.

    Hello!

I have all my CP's outside, but since this topic is in the VFT section i'll post pics of my VFT's.

My VFT's are just now going out of dormancy (I am in Puerto Rico, USA, in the Carribbean). Among all my CP's the most expected breaking of dormancy that i experience is the VFT's. For me it is very exciting to see each Spring how my plants have been succesful in their dormancy and come out of it with a lot of energy

Here are in the same pot, my Red Dragon, Dente and a clumping one:

Here are a couple of typicals:

Bravo! Bravo! Lovely bogged VFTs! Lord Humongus, all your VFT's are way ahead of mine, which are still dormant.
