Hmm I feel an experiment coming. Using 3% peroxide.I will give it a shot and compare growth to two similar pots if capensis typicals. Just need to get through work tonight and I will take some pictures.
Hi everyone!!![b said:Quote[/b] (JB_OrchidGuy @ July 05 2006,1:26)]I agree, but testing is still in order. Untill it is confirmed a benefit only try it on plants you have spares of. Unless you don;t mine an accidnet to an only plant.
Just to add to this years later in case someone else is searching for this info and comes across this thread, I just doused a Nepenthes Hirsuta seedling and a Nepenthes Ventrata that had some visable mold on it with 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. I covered the main stem and leaves and put enough to ensure it got directly to the roots. I'll add some pictures and will update in a week or if/when I notice a change. Luckily I have a control Ventrata that I bought on the same day as the one I just doused, so we have two clones of the same age and aprx size as eachother to compare.Hi everyone!!!
any news/update about this new experiment??
