An interesting flytrap

Just thought id share this

This is from a lowes rescue last year, and its much more colorful than any other flytraps i rescued from the same batch (which was a pretty good sized rescue lol if some of you remember)
Anyway its got some intensely colored traps, as well as a pink central line down the center of the petiole on the midrib

and the outer lobe/trap has the red band that i see on a few, but the outside of the trap itself is a bronze-ish orange color

That is a nice clone, short and colorful. Good rescue, Kris. :)

it did have a few of the tall summer leaves but it mainly kept as a ground hugger.

Nice looking plant!

Maybe you should register it as the "Fang-banded super mofo'"

i would love to submit it as a cultivar, but im not sure if it matches and descriptions yet

Did you grow this outside or under lights?

i grow all of my temperates (flytraps, sarracenia, and temperate drosera) outside in full sun :)

Wow. I wish my flytraps were like that, lol.
