Just some updates of my VFTs in the winter

I'm assuming these are looking right for dormancy?

    well..actually no, not so much..
why are they so green? have they been getting full sun?
where have they been growing since April?

they actually dont look right for plants that should be dormant..
they should be looking MUCH worse actually!
("looking worse" being a good thing, for this time of year..dormant plants should look half dead..which is a very healthy look for them in the winter..)

    they should look like this:

Well, on the other hand, they do look noticeably smaller than the older pictures... and most of the leaves do look like flat, wide, winter leaves rather than the vertical, narrower spring leaves... Is it just looking very happy because you've been actively trimming off dead/dying leaves, and all that's left are the remaining healthy leaves?

It does look very green... Speaking only for my own VFTs, mine were definitely leaning more towards the yellow side of the spectrum... (Well, the ones that weren't red to begin with, anyway...)

Also, I'm sorry to see that the other Drosera didn't seem to make it...? (spatulata?) Did your capensis fare any better?

yeah I trimmed all the dead leaves off of the plants. Well they have been in the sunroom since October.

I'm not sure why that one Drosera died off it was looking great then not so much...it came with the VFT when I ordered it. The Other sundew is doing pretty good..it's in my room under some lights the only worry I have is that it's starting to get cold in my room so hope that doesn't effect it.

Well it can't be much warmer than it is outside which currently it has been getting about 30-40F as of late. They also get sunshine through the window for half the day.
