    I have bulbs similar to these.
    How deep do you plant them, and are there any specific guidelines for watering?

    I plant them so that the crown of trimmed leaves are at the compost surface; beyond that, I treat them as I would any other plant. The rhizomes happen to be in shallow, water-filled trays in direct sunlight -- and are already forming leaves and flower stalks . . .

    Here are just two of the results of the Dionaea rhizomes planted back on 21 April. The largest trap leaves are now 4.4 cm (1.75") and the roots are far longer -- some even creeping from the drainage holes . . .
