hot roots

When I leave my plants in the sun for a while,my plant's soil gets hot.So mabye if I water my plant cold distilled water in the hot afternoon, the plants root will cool off.But I didn't want to put my plan into action before consulting with forum's members.

hey i woudlnt bother with cooling down your vft's roots unless it quite present that the heat is damaging your plants.. i had my vft's out in 100'f weather this summer and they are completely fine.. in all
