Thread: Regarding fly trap soil

  1. #1

I was wondering if someone on here could help my out. My Venus Fly Trap is growing rather large, and the pot that it was in when I bought it is not big enough anymore. I'd like to change it's pot somehow, but I don't know what kind of soil to use. First of all, should I ever need to change the pot? If so, what kind of soil should I use?

    Thank you for your help!

Yes, you probably need to repot. *As for the type of soil, people have many different opinions. *Basically, it needs to be acidic and hold water. *Personally, I favor Long fibered spaghnum moss, but there are other mixtures that work equally well. *This is a great website for VFT info, check it out! Great Site

    Hope this helps
