I bought a baby red dragon late last season from **********.com. This spring, it has really started to grow and take shape. I live in New Hampshire, USA. The question I have is: Is it normal for the plant to be more green than red and when should I expect it to become fully red? If ever...

We have some red dragons right now. Don't know how long supply will last.

In answer to the 1st question...Red Dragons need lots of sun to maintain the red color. The more sun they get, the redder they should turn.
The opinions expressed here are not necessarily those of the management. And the management will be happy to hear that!

I saw an entire tray of red dragon plugs while there, act fast, no telling how many of them are already spoke for.

Well, thanks for the info. It's still been a little chilly in NH lately but I have been putting them outside on the nicer days. Now that it's starting to warm up a bit, I will make sure to give him some good sun.

the website says they're out of stock, is this just a way of limiting their sales of red dragons?

no, this is because ********** is so busy moving stock that they can't keep up with business. Limiting sales, as a form of conserving stock, goes against the grain of running a succesful business.

There is one tray of red dragons that i know of, it may not be large enough to sell from yet, but I am pretty sure it is. If you want one, call the company, talk to lynda, and get one!
