Here lately my vft hasn't been closing the traps when I put a fly in...I move it around, try to stimulate it to close,no luck, and these are new traps too...the weather has grown a little cooler here lately, and not as humid...could that be it? Also, should I remove and dead traps? It was growing like a weed, shooting up a bunch of new traps, the new ones going from first being noticed to fully open in about a week and a half, now it's kind of at a stalemate.....any suggestions?

    Thanks!

I have noticed the first traps of the season don't always close and if it does get cold they seem to stop working. Keep in mind it does not need to eat to surrive. Only remove the traps that have turned black. It can still use the green ones for photosynthesis.
