    The VFT is left on a sunny windowsill all day really then moved into the back garden as the sun moves over...

    Man! As soon as I bring a new VFT home, it wilts and shrivels on me. I don't know how you're managing this, but great job!

    Simply using distilled water and good sunlight, I think they key is to start off with a good plant?

    Probably [img]http://www.**********.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif[/img] That's where I run into trouble! I can't find good ones here in Alberta. So I've attempted to order from Cooks'. But by the time it gets here it will have been unroute for a week. It might be in bad shape!

    A note on the coloration of the traps: this depends a lot on the variety. Some traps never turn red, not even in full sun.

    Cant believe after a month since I got the plant its looking like this (or stayed alive)!



    The biggest traps are about 1 1/4 " and the span of the plant is about 8-9 inches!
