I would say you don't need to worry about lowering the light slowly......plants don't have eyes

A lady went into a grocery store and looked into the turket section. She needed a bigger one for her family, so she asks the stock boy: \"Do these turkeys get any bigger?\"

    The stock boy replied: \"No ma'am, they're dead\"

Oh, Ok, Sorry... I thought somehow if suddenly a plant is getting flooded with all this light, and its just cut off immediatly from it, It can hurt it, As its all "Opened" sucking in this light, and BOOM all the sudden the energy is gone... Such as, The plant is using more energy than it would get from the water to suck in the light, which equals enough, but then suddenly its still using its energy for a time ot come wehn theyre no more light.

i would give it more light (more hours with the light on). i have my lights on for about 16 hours a day. also, remember that floursesnt lights loose a lot of their output after about 6 months, so if you are using an old light, you might want to replace the bulb.

as for using filtered tap water, just remember that everyone's water is different. distilled, rain, and reverse osmosis (r.o.) are all acceptable for your cp's.

    enjoy!
