Grow upright

how do u get your plants leaves to grow straight up? or is that just a part of how the plan is... any advice?

I suggest gettin a variety that grows erect like "Creeping Death" or "Spider." I have a "Spider" that is just beginning to grow.

You can also get Royal Red, known for semi-erect petioles. However, they may be quite expensive.

Mine had lots of bushy short leaves that were laying close to the ground until I killed off all the leaves with extrem sunlight (muwhaha) and let some new leaves regrow. The ones that took their place are long and thin with some of them going STRAIGHT up, a few actually curved back in on themselves so that the traps are facing downwards (lol, i reckon its trying to get to the sunlight?)
