Won't grow, won't eat

My plant's kept outside in Wash, D.C., where it's now getting into the 70's by day and the high 40's by night.

Nothing is dying, but the plant doesn't seem to be growing--for example, there are two almost-completed heads that have stayed as they are for a few days now.

Also, the plant hasn't eaten in a couple weeks. The heads just won't close when I try to feed them.

Is this dormancy? I thought it's a bit early.

When the temperatures start to get cooler, the venus flytrap slows down in both growth and trap speed. I would say the plant is going dormant due to the temperatures getting into the 40's at night.

yes Nick is a VFT expert, as the nights get cooler your plant is getting ready for dormancy
