My big mouth was doing fine and then I went outside to tear some dead leaves off and I accidently ripped part of the bulb and lot of roots off of it. The main plant still has plenty of roots and leaves on it but should i make a cutting of the torn of bulb and roots? If so what media should I use? I mainly only have paet/perlite and long-fibered spahguam moss. Are any of these suitable?

Replant the extra bulb in equal parts of peat moss, perlite, and LFS.

Yeah, what he said. I use 50 percent peat, 50 percent sand. For leaf cuttings, I use pure LFS. Then I pot them up in the 50/50 mix when they're big enough.
