Tillandsia flowers in the greenhouse.......

Not sure of the species.

It's always cool to see Tillandias in bloom. Sometimes I forget they're even alive.
 
These ones go to seed pretty regularly for me.
 
Has the seed been viable? Any germination in the GH?

The only seeds that I know were viable were the 1st ones they produced. The plant was growing outside while it was in flower though so I'm not sure if an insect or the wind pollinated them. No idea if they self pollinate or not.
 
Cool plants. I have the same "puffball on a wire" and hoping for flowers some day. Very pretty thanks for sharing.
