Lovely plants. T. xerographica is always a favorite of mine, and that tectorum is really great too.

Thanks. Fancy wine glass with color glass balls.

I'll give you the sad story of my N. hamata.

I got the plant in 2004.
It went down hill from being in the same old soil for way too long.... over 8 years.... but wait, it really wasn't replanted then. I just put some fresh soil in the hanging pot and plucked the whole plant and old soil and placed it on top a very thin layer of fresh soil. What was I thinking....
It was looking even worse. I re-potted it again in 100% fresh soil but tried a different soil mix. I was keeping it too wet and rotted the main plant. I still had a small rooting cutting.
I re-potted it again earlier this year along with N. x dyeriana (Was in a little bit better shape as the N. hamata) with my original soil mix. Unfortunately the hamata was in such bad shape it passed .
The N. x dyeriana has starting to grow again and pitcher for me. It was stagnate for some time, not growing any new leaves and pitchers.
Now the hanging pot that once held the hamata, now has N. ventricosa x hamata.

That is too bad to hear. I remember coming across your website years ago and it helped to convince me to try more nepenthes species in house conditions. Good luck with the successor to your N. hamata
