Adiantums!

By the way this is helpful info for my Mum (not me! ) as she loves them but can't seem to grow them indoors! Is there anything vital that she is not doing??? Please help - For the sake of my Mum! lol

Adiantum

They grow like weeds here and I do nothing to encourage them. My only two comments are;
give them more light than you think they should have, mine have popped up in very bright areas.
They can also handle less water than I expected. I don't water them at all in the dry season and they always survive, somehow.

If you transplant them they almost always lose all their fronds and look like they are dead - do NOT throw them away, leave them where you have planted them and keep watering. Most of the time you will get new fronds appearing after a few weeks.
