Either a piece of grayish-purple debris fell into the center of the crown, or I have the beginnings of a flower stalk. Does anybody have a pic of an emerging Mexican ping stalk?

Flower stalks on Mexican Pinguicula typically develop very fast. What does it look like now, Jimscott?

I think it ever so slightly rose.

On the other hand, I poured water on top of the crown and nothing fell out. And my magnifying glass developed legs...
