Mexican pings & hummingbirds & butterflies

I was at Home Depot today and was noticing the Burpee display of different seed mixes. I saw one for flowers that attract butterflies and hummingirds and thought to myself, "Would it be worthwhile planting this mix near my CP's, particularly the Mexican pings, to attract critters with extra long tongues, to get them to pollinate?" Whaddya think?

good idea but i would throw away seed(or grow it)if you get some because they can be cross pollinated.

nothing wrong with cross pollonated seed, just label the seed as "Jim's Hybrids" i think thats what some of the current cultivars are, unknown crosses caused by hummingbird an such
