Since reading your advice from a previous post, i have modified my leaf pulling method. I tried the barely moist LFS in a bag for my P. gypsicola and they have produced some fine plantlets as opposed to the leaf rotting!
I'm also trying leaves on the APS (aquatic plants soil) and they also seem to be doing well too. Previous to this i was using the peat/sand mix, and was experiencing a lot of leaves rotting before plantlets were produced.
I also have good success with the Capslock approach - placing leaves next to the parent plants, with the basal part partially embedded in the media, exposed to the air. Really.... Mexican pings are the easiest of the CP's to ship, plant, rearrange, and propogate.
