I can't say that the species is breeze to grow but at least it doesn't get killed easily. I've had it for a while and only recently did it start to become "filifolia".

Long leaves stage.

Plants multiply as a clump of rosettes.

It's a Ping?! :0o:
And why is it growing in catfood?

...it's awesomesauce, though! :-D I like it alot!

I'm interested in growing this species, but I hear it's very difficult to grow

LOL! I'll stick with Mexican pings and B. liniflora.

XD Close, I think it's cat littler! There is a type of cat litter has the same make-up as APS, so If you can track down the right type, you can use it instead of APS (or something like that), so if you can't get APS (or if you live abroad), you can get this cat littler... I have some too, but am still trying it out to see how it goes...
Mine is pretty fowl smelling though... :puke2:

Cindy's media looks like laterite, or possibly akadama, to me.

Beautiful plant, Cindy! I don't know much about this species, so I'll have to read up, but it appears it has carnivorous leaves in both rosette and long leaf stages?

Wow the first pic (the long leave stage) almost looks like a D. indica.

The plants are in Seramis...very similar to APS which I can't find locally. I can ONLY grow Pings in pure perlite and this in my conditions.

I read very different cultivation info for this species. Some say...
1. it needs highland conditions similar to what highland Neps require
2. it needs conditions suitable for petiolaris complex Sundews - hot and humid

???
