Also the petals on real ‘Weser’ are wider, so that they overlap slightly.

for me these 2 are x 'Weser' ,like this

    or mine

after, everything, is a question of the nature of the moranensis and ehlersiae used.
but if we use species type in both cases it seems to me that petals are not overlapping so why a hybrid would be with

a 'fake weser' for me is a x'Sethos'

New P. emarginata flower will hopefully have let me cross it with sp. Tonala "ANPA A;" the reverse already seems to have taken.

Not the greatest photo this one, I realize now, but Clone B of this cross is in flower once more. And still retaining those key traits I liked so much (slender, bicolor petals)

Seeing if I can make an F2 cross with this and my moranensis x esseriana hybrid...

And testing a cross with this emarginata and 'Pirouette' (also below); another emarginata flower is rising up that I'm hopefully going to be able to pair with gigantea

Well the complex hybrid crosses look to all be failures, but this guy is blooming and I did cross it with emarginata! And so far, every other primary cross with emarginata has worked spectacularly for me, so here's hoping...
