From what I've seen they eat little gnats, small spiders, and mosquitoes. I've seen some leaves totally covered in prey.. it's hard to photograph though because the rain washes all the prey into those little curls on the edge..

Where do you make this photo? In wich country?
If I don't mistake there are also two species of vaccinium:
are perhaps vaccinium uliginosum and vaccinium microcarpus?

Rajah- This photo was taken in my back yard in Kasilof, Alaska USA. You are correct about the two vaccinium- Vaccinium uliginosum and vaccinium microcarpus. There are also a few leaves from a nearby dwarf birch in there (Betula nana). I wish I knew the species of sphagnum but I don't
