Oh no!

my p.vulgaris pot froze last night. will the hibernicula and gemmae be alright? help

I've grown mine outdoors for years here and I've seen the temps as low as -50F. My guess is they should be fine

Bonnie, this is kinda a guesstimate question, but about how deep does your ground freeze there in Alaska?
 
Well.. we only have 3 to 6 feet of topsoil on average.. but I believe it freezes all the way down to the permafrost.

I just wanted to know if pots would be OK above ground, thats all.
