P. vulgaris

My P. vulgaris are entering their 3rd month of dormancy and have produced a large amount of gemmae. I'm wondering if it is ok to pot up the gemmae on their own or should I wait until the plants start coming out of dormancy in April?

It's best to seperate and pot up gemmae during the winter when they are fully dormant and have no root system. If you wait until they start coming out of dormancy, you risk damaging any fine roots which may have developed and the plants are less likely to survive.
