Pinguicula

Hey guys,
Its dropping down to 41 tonight and I just put in my mexican Pings in my new greenhouse. Is this too cold?

Please Let Me know

Mike

My pings were out in temps below 32F. Not sure about Mexican pings though. The temp should stay a little higher in your greenhouse.

I would not recommend temperatures below 45F if the plants are not well-established. If the plants have been grown indoors under lights(temperatures not below 50F) etc., moving them outdoors in the cold is not a good idea...

While I agree with CP2k I would like to add that I left my Mexi-Pings out last fall a little too long and they got hit jard one night. I didn't lose any but it slowerd a lot of them down. So they can take a quick cold snap and survive but it is best not to chance it
