P. moranensis

Is anyone working on classifying P. moranensis into species, subspecies, varities, etc.?

This has been an ongoing effort over the past centuries, hahaha! There will never be a definitive work on the subject since new data always arises and opinions change. Sergio Zamudio from Mexico recently published a new variety (var.neovolcanica) and very soon we hope to see a thorough DNA analysis of the genus in publication. I am not sure how deeply this work will deal with the P.moranensis complex though...

Take Care,
