Finding the correct way for spelling the scientific names of sarracenia is easy. You have Bob Z's sarracenia photos to help out, as well as the many resources through the ICPS. Just the same, I am going to list them for you (species only) to help out.

S. alata-----variations heavily veined
red throat
nigrapurpurea----and so on.
S. flava var. flava (veining in throat, a little in the hood,)
var. cuprea (copper top)
var. atropurpurea (all red)
var. rubricorpora (red tube)
var. rugelii (red throat--cut throat, etc.)
var. ornata (heavily veined)
var. maxima (all green-red growing points only)

S. minor Typical
Var. okeefenokeensis
Red form

S. oreophila-----red throats, heavily veined, lightly veined, green, etc.

S. leucophylla---red tubes, white and green, etc.
S. leucophylla (anthocyanin free)

S. rubra ssp. rubra
ssp. alabamensis
ssp. wherryi
ssp. gulfensis
ssp. gulfensis "Green" (anthocyanin free)
ssp. jonesii
ssp. jonesii Heterophylla (anthocyanin free)

S. psittacina Typical Form
Green Rosette (anthocyanin free.)

S. purpurea ssp. purpurea
ssp. purpurea "Heterophylla" (anthocyanin free)
ssp. venosa var. venosa
venosa var. montana
venosa var. burkii (or rosea)
