I started stratifying some S. purpurea ssp purpurea seeds a couple weeks ago but have decided that they will not do well at my latitude in Southern California. I have obtained some S. purpurea ssp venosa which should do better in my locale.

The ssp purpurea seeds are from Tolland Co, Connecticut (ICPS seed bank).

They're up for trade for Sarracenia minor or Drosera anglica 'Hawaii' seeds.

If I don't get any offers along that line by the end of the week (Feb 10) then I'll put 'em up for grabs for SASE or postage to the first that wants them and lives far north enough to grow them happily.

There's maybe two dozen seeds cold stratifying in a small pinch of live sphagnum moss. Due out Feb 25, 2007. I will not mail them out until after the 25th of Feb.
