Sarracenia hybrids wanted on trade

How would the shipping work from U.S. to U.K. and vice verse?

Jerry

Hi Jerry,

Have you shipped to the U.K. before - it's quite simple apparently. The permits and papers are easy to arrange, many UK growers here import from the USA

I have never shipped anything out of the U.S. Just put it in a box and ship?

Jerry

i thought there were rules for shipping to the UK
Alex

It's not quite simple, really. To ship a plant to the UK (or anywhere outside the US) you must meet phyto regulations and get the proper papers and permits in order.

fwiw, a New Zealand Phytosanitary certificate cost me 60 bucks a few years ago... big time owie, it was more expensive then the items i was having shipped

I would definitely verify....

Yes, papers are required to send to the U.K. but it is quite straight forward when you know how.

Lots of UK growers over here trade with U.S. growers - that's how we get such lovely plants - from you lot !!!
