I have grown it before. It is a very attractive and easy to grown Drosera species. I had taken a break from growing it and all the seed I saved from mine has lost its viability.
Many Drosera species seem to have a rather short seed life, no matter how carefully they are stored. It seems like distributing them by S.A.S.E. or through seed banks, like the ICPS Seed Bank are the best ways to ensure that these species remain in cultivation and that if anyone loses a species, for whatever reason, they can again obtain fresh seed from the network of other growers, who are still growing the plants and harvesting fresh seed.
