Nepenthes Art

Some of you may remember an old thread in which I promised to bring you more art in the future. Over the past few months I have created a number of works dedicated to my favorite plants, so now it is time for an art update!

Since these are reproducible, I was considering making something like 20 of these prints and selling them, or maybe even donating a few to the upcoming auction. Theoretically, I could also print onto fabric or possibly T-shirts, but I'll have to experiment with that.

Whatever the case, I have been having quite a bit of fun with these, and I plan to continue with more over the next few months. :banana2:

Wow, very very good!

Very Nice Stamp
The curvy style of your clipeata x eymae reminds me of "the scream"

If you don't mind, my I share a few sculptures I made? We could turn this into a cp art thread

Agree .... :hail:

Wow!

PS - I'd be very curious to see how that looks on a T-shirt.... (hint - hint)

amp and rapidan: Thanks :D

RL: In that case, experiments with fabric will commence on Monday!

D. muscipula: Sure--I'd love to see some art from my fellow plant-lovers! The more the merrier. :)

So nice

D. muscipula--It looks great! It almost looks like a Nepenthes coffee cup (which would be pretty awesome, now that I think about it).

Mass--I'm sure we could work something out. PM me for details. Also, I was looking up there, and I think I may have labeled them awkwardly at the bottom. The rubber negative is actually the ugly grey thing, so I'm guessing that you're looking at the black and white one?

Also, I can print them on lots of different kinds of papers, and they look really cool on different colors.

D. muscipala: OMG...don't give me ideas. I might just follow through with them ;)

The Hamata stamp is amazing! I join in with everyone and say I would pay monies for something stamped with it if you were doing such things =)

Beautiful! I will have to keep the drawing from the note you send with our trade. It will be worth a lot when your are famous.....

Wow! I think anything here would make a great addition to the NASC auction. I'm sure it would be a high bidder for sure.

I had an epiphany last night. I realized that if I sell prints before the auction, then everyone who really wanted one would have one, and the ones in the auction wouldn't get very much money. So I thought maybe it would be a good idea if instead of putting a handful of prints up for the auction I could just make twenty and do shirts on a case-by-case basis (assuming the fabric works out) and then donate 20% of all profits to the NASC?

Keith...Lol--thank you! ;)
